The Activist's study of history and why American white people invented domestic terror in the first place, reveals that the effort of the Black American former slave class to be truly free will only trigger resentful whites into initiating another Civil War. The white supremacist character feels it doesn't have to be that way if only Black Americans are willing to "compromise" their pursuit of full competitive economic freedom. The Activist is naturally distrustful of what "compromise" could possibly mean in context when coming from him...
